What Is It Like to Work at The Title Girl? Chelsea Cunningham Explains

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to work at The Title Girl? We’re here to provide the answers you want. Throughout our upcoming monthly blog series, we’ll shine a bit of light on various people who work at The Title Girl and what it’s like for them.

Our first blog article will focus on Chelsea Cunningham. Chelsea is the CEO and founder of The Title Girl. She’s tasked with overseeing the company, which works to help manufacturers and retailers improve their car titling strategy. But how did she get started in the auto industry?

Below, we’ll delve into the answer to that, as well as other thought-provoking questions. We’ll hear what Chelsea has to say about The Title Girl’s impact on proprietary car titling software and what the culture is like at the company.

How Did You End Up at The Title Girl?

Born in Illinois and raised in Florida, Chelsea was 21 years old when her career started. It all began when she was in an accident that left her without a vehicle.

“My search for a new mode of transportation led me to a car auction where my passion for the industry began.” Soon after, she became known for purchasing vehicles at auction between wholesaling and retailing them for a profit. “The art of buying and selling cars came naturally to me, and then I eventually got a job at a dealership in Dallas selling high-end cars.”

Chelsea went on to explain that working at the dealership helped her identify an area of need that was unaddressed in the industry at that time. This would be the start of the journey toward offering auto title registration software for her and what would be The Title Girl.

The lack of technology and tracking meant some dealers would lose money while making customers upset. Titling is an integral part of the sales process, but many don’t think about it much. Chelsea chose to start a company that would offer a solution to Texas title service woes.

How Does The Title Girl Impact the Industry?

At the age of 24, with no financial backing, Chelsea became an entrepreneur and scaled her business based on a desire for success. She had always wanted to be her own boss due to her independent nature. Her traits and skills fueled her spirit, which gave her a solution mindset and the ability to be comfortable taking risks.

The company was created to offer a speed titling service based on technology, expertise, and efficiency. Since the company was founded in 2015, it has redefined the way consumers and retailers title vehicles for companies like Avis, Tesla, and more.

“We pride ourselves in speeding up the titling process, which benefits our clients and their customers. We are true disrupters in the automotive titling business. We maximize proprietary technology, process, speed, and financial efficiency, bringing sophistication and innovation to a very ‘old school’ and slow industry segment.

More importantly, we believe in being true consultants to our clients. We understand our client’s business and pain points, then create and implement solutions. We feel we have the best and most unique technology platform in the industry that gives our clients transparency, reporting, scalability, and financial efficiency. And, of course, we pride ourselves in having exceptional customer service.”

It has always been essential to Chelsea as a leader to create a place where people want to be and feel appreciated daily. She tells the staff to respect everyone, no matter what level they are in the company because it isn’t possible without all of us.

“I love the opportunity to provide a place of work where people feel safe. They have the opportunity to grow and enjoy themselves all while making the auto industry better.”
