Registration Impact Portal (RIP) 101: How to Track

Here at The Title Girl, our job is to take care of one of the most important parts of a sale, the final transaction. Buying a car is an exciting event, however, customers can easily be left with a sour taste in their mouths if it takes forever to get the title and plates to their new vehicle. Or even worse, human error causes your dealership to lose money because of a numeric input error.

Luckily, our Registration Impact Portal (RIP) gives you full access to everything that is happening with a deal, in real-time! But how exactly do you track, and keep track, of everything in RIP?

Simple Design and Peace of Mind

Learning a new program can have its challenges. Luckily, RIP’s easy-to-navigate user interface (UI) is simple to use, while giving you all the information you need to stay in the know 24/7.

Not only is simplicity key, but consistency is as well. RIP removes human error, reduces labor costs, and establishes easily repetitive and scalable tasks. This in turn saves the dealership’s money that would’ve been lost due to a mistake made by an individual that manually submitted the information.

With RIP, you’ll never have to worry about paper documentation again. Everything is tracked and streamlined in one place, making all of the information easy to find, and your side of the coin stress-free.

Fully Integrated Tracking Tool

Do you know the costs of the following issues?

  • Sales and volume

  • Sales tax and fees collected

  • Out of State Title and Registrations

  • Turnaround times for plates

  • DMS errors

  • Late fees

  • Title Corrections

  • Lienholder phone calls

  • Unwound deals

  • Admin staff productivity

Tracking Made Easy

RIP’s dashboards can be customized to your process flow where you can see every deal and its status. All deals can be filtered by state and /or dealership location to see how many deals are at risk for late fees or any other issue that your dealership would like to track.

Want to know the total number of deals that have open inquiries? Something that is stopping the process from moving forward, such as a missing signature or POA. RIP includes an open inquiry board that has the entire history of the deal and all of your notes in one place. This eliminates the need for sticky notes and emails going back and forth, every conversation piece for that deal is saved within RIP. If a customer calls in to find out why they haven’t received their plates yet, you are able to easily locate the entire history of what has occurred, it keeps the whole story in one place forever. Our inquiry board is your daily to-do list of all the problems and issues that are holding up a deal. You can sort by title clerk to see who has outstanding items and the age of how long it has been sitting on the inquiry board. The tools are accessible to everyone in the dealership, from the porter to your GM owner, anyone can log in and check the status of a deal and pull reports.

Be on the lookout for next week's blog where we discuss how RIP is an excellent management tool that can help you monitor your departments efficiently!
